Help with Java
The new psychic chat rooms require Sun's Java version 1.4.2 or higher.A clean install of Java is important. Before you upgrade your Java, make sure you have uninstalled all previous ones.

Mac OS X
Choose the highest available Java version of your Mac OS version.

Useful tips:
- Make sure you have downloaded and installed the most recently available Java version from one of the above links. Uninstall older Java versions you may have first before reinstalling.
- Make sure Java is enabled in your browser.
- Make sure you are using either Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Firefox
- You may have a slow internet connection, you may have to wait a bit for the Java Applet (the little program which runs in your browser) to get downloaded
- You may have an old page in your browser or Java cache. Try closing all your browser windows, going to back to the chat web page, and pressing refresh
- Your Java version may be too old. Windows users can check this by going to Control Panel -> Add Remove Programs and seeing which Java version you have installed. You need at least version 1.4.2
- Make sure you only have Java installed once! If you don't, uninstall the older versions.
- Your version of Java is 1.4.2 but it's still not working: Try uninsalling Java, and reinstalling it. This often solves corrupt Java installations
